Hey guys! it’s that time of year again, and if you’re like me, you’re still searching for the perfect gift for that one hard-to-buy-for friend or family member. I know. I feel your pain. That’s why I’ve put together this list of 25 Gifts every cook will love.
We all know that buying for cooks can be expensive, so I’ve kept this to gifts under $25.00. I’ve also excluded cookbooks, because it’s hard to be general when it comes to those, and because the really good cookbooks are usually a lot more than $25.00,
Having said that, I’m sure there’s something in this list for every cook, no matter their skill level. It runs the gamut from novelties to kitchen essentials. You’re sure to find some inspiration here.

25 Gifts Every Cook Will Love For Under $25.00
Every Cook struggles with organization, especially when they own a host of pots, pans and skillets. These clutter cabinets and stacking them can damage the surface of nonstick pans.
The Deco Brothers Pan Organizer solves these problems and more. It can be used vertically or horizontally. And can also be mounted to the cabinet if desired. This is truly one gift that any cook will adore.
This stainless steel kitchen tools set is the perfect gift for the cook who’s just starting out, or one that wants a clean, organized look in the kitchen.
The set includes all the basic necessities like a can opener, a bottle opener, a wheel knife, a can piercer, a peeler, a fine grater, a vegetable peeler and a cheese slicer.
It would be hard to imagine a cook who didn’t appreciate this set of tools.
I’ve never met a cook or a chef that doesn’t love a good knife. That usually means spending a lot of money. Not in this case. This set of Japanese knives may not cost a lot, but they’re definitely not cheap. Each blade is hand-forged and hand-sharpened from high carbon steel using the traditional 40-step process.
They’re insanely sharp, hold an edge for a very long time, and will amaze anyone who uses them. I speak from experience here. I own one of Mr. Nakamoto’s knives, and it’s amazing.
What can I say? It’s a fact of life in any serious kitchen that we wear these things out like there’s no tomorrow. Why not surprise the cook in your life with a few shiny, new, unmarred jelly roll pans. They’ll love you for it, trust me.
Not every gift needs to be serious! This cute little kitchen timer is sure to bring a smile to its owner every time she uses it. It’s a fully functional timer, but cute enough to be displayed on the counter, ann a great conversation piece, too.
I consider a probe thermometer to be the most essential tool in my kitchen. If you know a cook who doesn’t own at least one, stop now and gift them this! It takes the worry out of cooking even the most challenging dishes, and they’ll be amazed at how much juicier their turkey comes out next year.
Spatter screens are a necessity in every kitchen, especially if there’s a glass cook top in the picture. The problem is, most splatter screens are ugly, get bent easily, and are just a pain to store. Not so the Splatter End. It’s nice to look at, it’s rugged, and it folds down to the size of a normal lid. In short, it’s the perfect addition to any kitchen.
I’m pretty sure that any cook would adore a set of these personalized wooden spoons. (I’ll be getting a set or two of these for myself in January!) Not only are they beautifully crafted utensils that are perfect for day-to-day use, they’ll add a touch of warmth to the table on special occasions, too.
Everybody has a favorite coffee or tea mug. Why not give that special cook in your life a brand new favorite with a personalized “Your name’s Diner” mug? It’s sure to get a lot of use, and it’s a gift they’ll remember for years to come.
For way more than jut Creme Brulee! I have no idea how I survived without one of these in my kitchen. These little torches are perfect for everything from melting sugar, to making sahimi, and even for putting he perfect finishing touch on steaks or poultry. The chef in your life will love this!
Ever underrated but always appreciated. A set of mixing bowls that won’t slide all over the counter is one thing that every cook adores. It’s a simple gift, but one that will be much appreciated by cooks and bakers alike.
It’s the 21st century, and a whole lot of people have an iPad in the kitchen instead of a cookbook. Give them a gift that looks just as good whan not in use as it is when they’re browsing recipe blogs.
14. Measuring Spoons
Every cook needs them and every cook uses them. (At least grudgingly.) This set of spoons is designed to fit into spice bottles for less waste and easier measuring. (Oh, and they look pretty darned good, too!)
There’s nothing like the feeling of a great wood cutting board. This one adds the convenience of height, as well as two removable containers for storing what you’ve cut or easily collecting scraps. I’m pretty sure every cook would be happy to have this in their arsenal.
16. Lid Sid
Need a great stocking stuffer for the cook in your life? Look no further than Lid Sid! He’s a lid wedge, a heat-proof handle gripper or a spoon rest. He also gives you the pleasure of torturing a tiny man in boiling liquid. Sure to get a laugh, anyway.
Every serious cook loves their cast iron skillets. And we can always use more. This set comes in at under $25.00 for three. They’ll be cherished for a lifetime. (Mine have actually been cherished for three, they’re over 70 years old.)
18. Multi Scraper
Whether the cook on your gift list is a baker or a hardcore carnivore, they’ll love this addition to their kitchen arsenal. I use one of these for everything from baking to cleaning sheet pans. It’s possibly the handiest tool in my kitchen, and I’d be happy to gift one to anyone I know.
Some of the best cookware comes, unfortunately, with lids that aren’t oven-safe, or are too bulky to be put in the fridge. These oven safe silicone lids can do both, and they fit just about any sized pan, too. They can even be rolled up for storage! Perfect.
Magnetic knife holders are cool, but this one takes thing to the next level by adding hooks to hold your other most used utensils. It’s stylish, functional, and a great space-saver, too. I can’t think of a cook who wouldn’t want this.
Know a cook who loves veggies? This might just be the perfect gift. Not much more to say here, really. It’s cute, and cooks will get a chuckle out of it.
Ladles and strainers. We all need ’em. But these are not only cute enough to be used as a decoration when not in use, they stand on their own. Great for college dorms, and perfect for a friend that loves cute things in their kitchen.
Your first pizza stone is a game changer in the kitchen. We happen to own this exact model, and I can tell you from experience that it gets used. And used a lot. It makes perfect pizza crusts, amazing bread, and can be used as an oven temperature stabilizer. The cook in your life will love it.
This is probably something a more experienced cook will already have, but if you’re buying for someone who’s getting started, there’s no better tool than a MicroPlane Grater. Nothing is better at zesting fruit, but it’s also amazing for grating hard cheeses like Parmesan, and is incredible at finely shaving chocolate. Definitely a tool that any cook will adore.
